The Executive Director, Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Organisation (A.Y.E), Joy Michael has said that one of the key attributes to what makes fasting unique was the life lessons it endures beside an increase in endurance for hunger and thirst, tolerance for unpleasant life events and the personal motivation to practice calmness in difficult times.
In an Eid el Fitri message to all Muslims worldwide on the occasion of the event, which was made available to press, Michael noted; “Each year during the holy month of Ramadan, over a billion Muslims across the world participate in the fasting ceremonies”.
She congratulated Muslim faithfuls who participated in the annual event, hoping that during the celebration, the moment was enjoyed in prayer and Thanksgiving.
