Olokode Olawale, Now Osun State Commissioner Of Police

Following the promotion and redeployment of CP Udie J. Adie, the former Commissioner of Police, Osun State, a new Commissioner has been appointed.

He is CP Olokode Olawale.
He was born some decades ago in Odeda Local Government Area, Ogun State.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolutions Studies from National Open University of Nigeria and Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Ibadan.

CP Olokode was admitted into the Nigeria Police Force in March, 1988 as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (Cadet ASP).

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Opalola Yemisi Olawoyin, CP Olokode has in the last 32 years in service, served in several states of the country, criss-crossing the six Geopolitical Zones; Ogun, Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Niger, Cross River, Kogi, Kano, Jigawa, INEC Headquarters and Force Headquarters Abuja among others.

A thoroughbred professional who has, since joining the Force, made waves in the departments of Administration, Operations and Investigations.

Before his new appointment in December 2020, CP Olokode was the Commissioner of Police, Border Patrol.

CP Olokode is happily married with children.
