Gov. Abubakar Bello Of Niger Tests Positive For COVID-19 ….Goes Into Isolation

 There was  palpable fears amongst Niger state government’s Officials on Monday, as the State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello  announced that he had  tested positive for COVID-19.

The Governor made this known via his Twitter handle at about 07:04 on Monday, saying, I am  asymptomatic, and has gone into isolation.

Also, in a statement issued and made available to Journalists in Minna  by his Chief Press Secretary,  Mary Noel-Berje, said,  “his sample was taken for test, and unfortunately returned positive”.

The governor said he has immediately gone into self- isolation and has commenced treatment.

Mary Noel-Berje,however, solicited prayers from all and sundry for her Boss’s  quick recovery,  even as he was asymptomatic to the virus and advised the people to always observe all the COVID-19 protocols in their dealings.
