Three Youngmen Nabbed For Romance Scam, Identity Theft

Three young men have found themselves in troubled waters as they have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) for romance scam, identity theft and other internet-related fraud in Abuja.

The suspects identified as Ajayiton Harry, 27, Okoro Daniel, 28, and Oziegbe Precious Ehijele, 27, were arrested in their hideout in Flat G2, Plot 334, Dawaki, behind News Engineering, Abuja, following intelligence reports by concerned citizens in the area.

According to the Head of Media and Publicity of EFCC, Dele Oyewale said in Abuja on Monday that the Abuja zonal office made the arrest of the three suspected internet fraudsters in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and recovered two Lexus R350 SUV, three laptops and expensive phones from them.

He, further, reiterated that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
