Abubakar Tsav Dies At 81

The former Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, is dead.

His personal assistant, Torkuma Uke, who announced his demise disclosed that Alhaji Tsav died at Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi, on Monday afternoon.

Further details were not given especially when he would be buried but added that his family may likely issue release of his departure later on Monday.

Since his retirement, Tsav served as Federal Commissioner of Public Complaint Commission in Benue State for a term.

Tsav was known for his outspokenness on national issues especially security and politics as it concerns his native state, Benue.

He was appointed as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police on the 25th September, 1996 until he left office on the 2nd October, 1998.
