Ghanaian Skipper Attributes World Cup Victory To T.B Joshua

Ghana’s U-20 World cup winning skipper has revealed that the victory his country had over Brazil during the final was made possible due to the instruction they got from Prophet T.B Joshua.

Gladson Awako, who was a member of the Ghanaian squad that won the FIFA World cup hosted by Egypt said during the tournament, the coach always made them to speak with a man who gave them instructions on how they approached every match.

Particularly, Awako explained that though they secured victory against the South America football giant, Brazil on penalty after the regular and extra time, added that every minute instruction they got from the man of God was a moral boaster to them.

Tutored by Sellas Tetteh, the West African country became the first country to conquer the continent and went ahead to win the U-20 World Cup in 2009.

Awako said via his Instagram in an interview with YAC Media Production that “During the U-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009, we normally gathered around the centre to pray, a man spoke to the entire team but did not know the person until the end of the tournament.

“The coach usually made us speak to a man on phone. He will put the phone on loudspeaker so we could all hear and then pray and do what he says.”

The skipper who now plays for Accra Great Olympics in Ghana reiterated that most of the things he told us came to pass especially the final. “He predicted that we will get an early red card and also told us how we will arrange the penalty takers. All that came to pass.”

With Ghana winning the tournament with the last penalty shot taken by Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, the Olympics skipper, noted with satisfaction that “I didn’t know who the person who spoke to was until we won the cup and they told us the man was TB Joshua’, he added
