Commandant,Peace corps of Nigeria,PCN, Bayelsa state command,Patriot Michael Ware-Ebi Ogbomah says the unsealing of the national headquarters of corp in Abuja will boost the morale of men and officers of the corps in the state.
Ogboma stated this in Yenagoa monday while reacting to the the News of the reopening.
Speaking with our sources,the commandant Patriot as members of the corp are officially expressed appreciation to the national commandant of the corp and other senior officers for working out the modalities that brought the sealing of the national headquarters to an end.
According to Ogbomah,the state command which now have no fewer than 4500 Men and officers is willing and prepared to start doing their duties within the frame work of the law which would formally empower the corps to operate when it is finally assented to by the presidency.
Speaking on collaborations with the state Government, Ogbomah reiterated that in the immediate past administration of Governor Seriake Dickson,the command received a boost in the number of it’d personel,saying the Government sponsored a number of interested enlistee into the corp.
He reassured that in no distant time with the compliance to the court order by the police which ordered the police to reopen the national headquarters,training of newly recruited and retraining old ones shall soon be carried along.
The poatriot maintainined that the state command will continue to collaborate with all other security agencies to making the state safer and better.
“Our duty like I said is to continue to assist the police and sister agencies with the issue of providing information that would curb crimes.”
“The police like the national commandant has reiterated is our mother, I thank them for respecting the rule if law.This is a morale booster”, He added.
