Former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, has salute former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on his 61st birthday, describing the former Nigerian leader as a pragmatic politician in the African continent.
In his birthday message to former President Jonathan , General Babangida said: ” President Jonathan has set a record as the first Africa leader to concede defeat in a National elections”
The former Military leader, also described Jonathan who clocked Sixty-one years on Tuesday, for his commitment to the principles of democracy worthy of emulation.
“He demonstrated absolute leadership by example through his capabilities on playing the game of politics by obeying the rules ahead of time” added General Babangida.
He commended former president Jonathan for writing his memoirs” MY TRANSITION HOURS ” as part of his birthday activities.
General Babangida on behalf of himself and indeed his entire family, wishes former president Jonathan happy birthday and more fruitful years ahead.
