NWC Panel Distances Self From APC Primary In Lagos

The National Working Committee (NWC) panel in charge of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Lagos State,on Tuesday, dissociated itself from the ongoing exercise.

At a press conference, the committee opposed the option A4 mode used in the election, expressing preference for the secret ballot system.

Chairman of the Primaries,Clement Ebiri, also said the materials for the primaries were yet to be distributed as at around 1pm and that results coming from various wards should be disregarded.

The election, as observed in many wards, involved party members queuing behind either of the two candidates.
