A group of women standing for encouragement of women involvement in politics known as Women parliament on Saturday, August 18,2018 addressed a press conference at Osun PDP state secretariat in Osogbo.
The state coordinator of the group, Mrs Remi Fakolujo in her welcome speech said the group is all over the state and their mission is to encourage women in politics. She cleared the air on wrong perceptions of people about women in politics.
Mrs Omotosho the deputy state coordinator of the group made reference to some world leaders who are female,saying for a fact,that women are good managers of the economy. She then called on Nigeria women to rise to the task.
The group appreciated the state Chairman of PDP in Osun state Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo for his leadership skills and wish Senator Ademola Adeleke and PDP success in September 22nd governorship election.
