Toyosi Kuforiji popularly known as Toeyoursea is a gospel artiste who has carved a niche for herself among the upcoming gospel artistes in the gospel music industry. Recently, she held a concert in Lagos which became a successful event and one that blessed the Christian community. In this interview, the Crawford University graduate explained to DAYO EMMANUEL, why she has been releasing single-tracked albums.
Excerpts:
You released a single tracked album, last year, why are you releasing another single and not full album this time? I decided to release another single because I believe in putting my name/brand out there first i.e so that people can get familiar with the name “Toeyoursea” and the brand. What is the title of the new album? The title of my latest single is “Love Found Me,” which is my 5th single, It was released on the 29th of January on online/terrestrial radio.
This song basically talks about the greater love, which is the love of God. I featured the award winning rap artist of the Rooftop clan “Sokleva,” if you are very conversant with my music, you will be amazed on this one because I showed forth my diversity with a whole new twist to the song delivery. Is your local church in support of your musical ministry? Yes my local church is in support of my career.
They invite me for ministrations/pray for me as well How do you advise pastors of gospel artistes? All I’ll say to pastors or artistes is to keep praying/digging deep into God’s word and also support Gospel Ministers. What are your other titles?
