Triple Cross Elementary School, Ogba, Lagos has held her valedictory service.
The service which held at the school premises Thursday 5 July attracted pupils, parents and well wishers to the venue.
Heavy downpour experienced all morning on Thursday was blamed for the late arrival of guests which however delayed commencement of the event scheduled for 12 noon that eventually started at about 2pm with a massive turnout.
Proprietress of the school, Mrs. Ologbenla, appreciated the guests who had taken the pains to grace the occasion despite the heavy downpour across the Lagos metropolis.
Head boy of the school, Teniola Fakeye opened the event with an opening prayer after which the pupils made various presentations.
Also at the event, a team of experts;
Amazon Amazing facilitated a session to enlighten the pupils on sexual abuse.
The team also addressed the parents on how to enlighten their children on sex education at the early stage to prevent sexual abuse.
A drama presentation to expose issues of child molestation was also staged.
The Head Girl of the school, Similoluwa Ojo expressed excitement about the Valedictory Service. The elated outgoing prefect told journalists at the event the challenges encountered in the course of combining her duties and her studies.
“My most challenging subject was Computer Studies but I made sure I tried my best even as I played my role as the Head Girl,” she said.
She also said her future plan and desire in life is to be a medical doctor.
Meanwhile, Head Boy of the school, Tenilola Fakeye expressed gratitude to the management and staff of the school on the high standard of learning.
“My aim in life is to be an Engineer with genuine affection for people,” he said, adding that the challenges he faced in the school included attitudes of disrespect from his juniors.
The proprietress, Mrs. Ologbenla expressed gratitude to the parents of the graduating students for sponsoring their wards through the school and creating time to invest in their future through qualitative education.
