Dangote Rice Mill To Produce 250,000 Metric Tones Annually In Sokoto

The Dangote Rice processing mill with the production capacity of 250,000 metric tonnes per annum to be ready in sokoto this year.

This was announced by the Executive Director, Stakeholders Management and Corporate Communication of Dangote Group, Engineer Mansur Ahmed during a courtesy call on Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

According to him, already they have taken delivery of the milling machines which would be transported and installed as soon as they secured land.

“We have already identified 25 hectares of land suitable for the project in Kware local government area and we have our civil engineers on ground.

Our plan is to start the construction next week which will take six months to be completed.”We are hoping to commence production before the end of this year to the tune of 32 metric tonnes per hour and 35,000 metric tonnes per annum,” he explained.
