Police aprehends kidnappers of Mopol 55 Unit Commander

The kidnappers that waylaid and kidnapped the Unit Commander incharge of Mopol 55 Aba in Abia state have been arrested.
Commander Solomon Nyakno Aniefiok Unit Commander Mopol 55 Aba Abia State was on routine check of officers and men of his command on January 14th when he was waylaid Kidnapped and was eventually released 3 days after Ransom was Paid. 
 
 The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim dris,after securing the commander safely, deployed the Intelligence response team (IRT) to Abia state to get the Kidnappers to justice. 
Based on the IGP directives one of the best IRT teams was deployed by ACP Abba Kyari and after six days of unrelenting follow up five of the Kidnappers were arrested alive while one Kidnapper met his water-Loo during the gun battle with IRT Operatives.
Exhibits recovered from the arrested kidnappers  are 0ne AK47 Rifle with S/no 56-2550382, 2 Magazines, 60 live Ammunitions, One Barretta Service Pistol of the Mopol Unit Commander, One local made Pistol, 2 Catridges, One Police Bullet proof jacket, One Police vest, 2 head Warmers and One Mopol Jungle Cap. 

The Kidnappers Arrested are: the gang leader, 36 years old Ifeanyi Stanley Ekpelulor aka one man squad, a native of osisioma LGA, Abia State and a Dismissed Recruit. He was said to have been dismissed during Police training in 2006. He confessed to three (3) Kidnap operations in Abia State. 

John Alozie  aka Alagboso, 26 year old native of osisioma, Abia State. He confessed to be part the gang that kidnapped the Unit commander and two other operuptions.
 
Others are Ogbonna Wesleyou,  31years old, Eze Obinna, 22years old native of isiala ngwa, Abia State. He was also among tge gang tgat kidnapped the Unit commander  and used victim’s ATM card to withdraw money from Victims account. Eze Orji  is 58 years old, native of isiala ngwa, Abia State.
Also one Osioma Paul, wife to a Kidnapper now in Prison and Sister inlaw to the gang leader was arrested for keeping the operational Rifles and Ammunitions for the Kidnappers in her House. Serious efforts to arrest the remaining Gang-members in Progress.
