Police Rescue 4 U.S,Canadian Citizens, Arrest Kidnappers

The combined teams of Intelligence Response Team (IRT) Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) and Kaduna Police Command, all deployed by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris, have Rescued the two Americans men and two Canadians, a man and a woman, kidnapped few days ago, “in fairly good health Condition” around 7: 30 am on Saturday.

The victims were rescued along Jere-Kagarko Road, Kaduna State and they have been handed over to the American Embassy in Abuja for Medical attention and other immediate needs.

Meanwhile, the two of the kidnappers arrested are already assisting the police in their determind efforts to arrest the remaining fleeing gangmembers.

The rescued victims are Nate Vangeest, a Canadian; the only female, Rachel Kelly, also from Canada; John Kirlin and Dean Slocum, both from the United States of America.
