Coming from the weekend break, Nigerian stocks closed on a negative note Monday 3rd July. All shares index dropped -1.05% at the close of trading, market capitalisation was N11,331,890,883,337.16.
All share index was 32,769.80 down -1.05%. Market capitalisation closed at N11.3trillion and volume of shares traded was 162.354,027.00 units in 3,488.00 deals.
However Honeywell flour mills led the gainers’ list opening at N1.76 to close at N1.93 and gaining N0.17. PZ came second opening at N22.92 and closing at N24.35 to gain N1.43. Livestock opened at N0.95 and closed at N1 to gain N0.05.
Meanwhile May & Baker led the losers’ chart opening at N3.88 and closed at N3.51 to drop N-0.37. Second on the losers’ list was 7Up which opened at N86.45 and closed at N78.21 losing N-8.24. Unity Bank was the third loser opening at N0.67 to close at N0.61 losing N-0.06.
