Accident on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway causes gridlock

An accident which occurred at the Magboro end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Friday has caused serious gridlock.

The accident which involved a truck and a Hyundai Accent car was caused by reckless driving according to eyewitnesses. No life was however lost.

Policemen and officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps were already at the scene of the accident to make way for a free flow of traffic.
