Kai! Don’t allow satan, the arch-enemy of God to laugh at your marriage and God. He likes/wants your marriage to go in the directions of strife and division. Satan has had his ribs cracked too many times while watching many Christian marriage couples with boxing gloves and supposedly on the canvas of sour love.
Husband! Don’t forget, you are the captain in the house while your wife is the assistant captain of your marriage-ship. Even, when your wife is wrong and do not see the need to apologise to you; don’t leave the door open at the risk of your wife, children and business, else satan would come in and have a filled day.
Remember, Adam and Eve didn’t have the Bible like we do. And yet Adam still took his wife and finally gave her the name “EVE”, after God had passed a hard judgement to them and driven them out of Eden (a spot of God’s presence) despite the fact that Eve consciously fell for satan’s trap first.
What Adam did was excellent. How many men can do this? Adam didn’t say his wife was the witch from outer space who came to spoil his business. He re-wrote his wrong after he blamed his wife before God. But who knows? He would have given it a good thought. He also ate the forbidden fruit too!
Again, where was he when satan came to his wife? Somewhere working like a workaholic fellow! Let’s be very sincere about this. How much of his time did he spend with his wife and teaching her the pre-knowledge he had about God before Eve came into his life?
