Dangote seeks unhindered movement for trucks with perishable items, special seaport for export

The Vice President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Sani Dangote on Monday in Lagos implored relevant Government agencies within and outside the Seaports to facilitate unhindered movement for all trucks conveying perishable items.

Speaking at the Nigeria Agricultural Export Zero Reject Forum in Lagos, Dangote emphasis need for Nigeria as a country to tackle and overcome logistics challenges at Seaports and Airports.

To enhance export initiatives, he called for special seaports for export, adding that “we must be competitive in terms of time.

The key objective of the Zero Reject forum is to inform stakeholders about current efforts by government to boost agro & non-oil exports to have a shared understanding of new processes and systems for ensuring zero reject of Nigeria’s agro and non-oil exports in the global market.
