Eid-el-Fitr: Cattle Dealers Chairman Hails Islamic Umar, Tasks Them On Peaceful Celebration

As Muslim all over the world mark Eid-el-Fitr today, Chairman of the Bayelsa State Cattle Rearers and Dealers association, Alhaji Ali Maiwada has commended all Muslim faithful in the state for successfully ending the Ramadan fast which culminated into the sallah celebration yesterday.

He also charged Muslims to pray for the unity and peace of the state, saying the holy month of Ramadan examplifies love and open heartedness towards one another.

The chairman called on members of his association to always tow the path of peace for the growth and development of their business, noting that the State has shown the adherents of the Islamic faith respect and love, hence what was expected of them is to ensure the prevailing peace is maintained across boards.

He said: “I call on all Muslims in the state to maintain peace even as we celebrate sallah.

“Bayelsa as as State loves Muslims and that is why we’ve the prevailing peace and boom in our various businesses.

“Let us continue keeping the peace and all good things that the holy month of Ramadan teaches us. But let’s also not stop giving and demonstrating love and unity in this state”.
