As the war against terror continues, the\u00a0 Nigerian troops have
\ncontinued to make progress against the insurgents being dislodged from\u00a0their strongholds.<\/p>\n

There seems to be no hideouts left for the miscreants as the federal\u00a0troops in a raid in Borno villages, killed five and made an arrest at\u00a0the weekend.<\/p>\n

Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, revealed on\u00a0Sunday the Doksa, Biu Local Government Area operation led to the end\u00a0of two members of the terrorist group while one Abdullahi was rounded\u00a0up.<\/p>\n

According to him, three of the Boko Haram terrorists were killed in\u00a0Dure 1, Dure 2, Jango Dibiye.<\/p>

Usman said two military uniforms, one General Purpose Gun, one AK 47\u00a0rifle and two locally made guns were also recovered from the Boko\u00a0Haram fighters by men of the 231,331 battalions and others from the\u00a0Armed Forces Special Forces 3 Division.<\/p>\n

Also retrieved from the terrorists, who were found to be poisoning\u00a0water sources and planting IEDs were, 25 motorcycles, 30 bicycles,\u00a0grinding machines and some foodstuffs during the operation.<\/p>\n

Usman also revealed that troops of the 122 Task Force Battalion and\u00a0the 26 Task Force Battalion in a major operation cleared some Boko\u00a0Haram camps in Dure, Sambisa where three of the insurgents were\u00a0killed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
