Hazzan decried the dearth of teachers motivation while speaking on Sweet Fm’s Flagship programme, The Podium.

Hon. Hazzan further said that as important as the model schools built by the present administration are, they are not the urgent need of the people of the state.

“Most of the decision taken by the present administration so far are important but not urgent. One way to determine whether a government is wise is the ability of that Government to differentiate between an important need and an urgent one”, says Hon. Hazzan

He further appraised Gov. Amosun led state government on the road construction projects embarked upon so far.

“I feel the roads are quite good but i disagree with the pricing. I also will feel better if those roads lead to where revenues come from.”

“How many of those roads lead to farm settlements or industrial estates.”

“The road to Agbara is nothing to write home about. Constructing that road is a lot more urgent than what we have right now. We should encourage the tax payers.”

The former deputy speaker also commented on the strike action in the state calling on aggrieved members to come to a roundtable in other to negotiate.

“I think the government being the father of all should call organized labour to a roundtable for a dialogue”

“The people who were referred to as being brainless and senseless should not dwell so much on those words as it is an unfortunate statement.”

“Let whoever made the mistake tender apologies where and when necessary and let both parties come together to reach a compromise”, says Hon. Hazzan equally declared his desire to run for Governor in 2019.

“Several options are on the table including the biggest pie on the plate.”

“However, no one should go to a negotiation table without being ready to bend backwards a bit.”

The former member of the G-15 faction of the Ogun State House of Assembly also said he now has a good relationship with the former Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.

“In yoruba land, when an older man offends a younger one, it is the younger one that apologizes.”

“I have gone to OGD to apologize and we have a good relationship now. In fact, all of us who had the issues back then had realised that the misunderstanding was unnecessary”, Hazzan declared.

Hon. Remmy Hazzan concluded by congratulating the management of SweetFm on the establishment of the noble medium that allows for objectivity and the voice of the people.”

“Your station allows the other side of the story. This allows the voice of the people to be heard. Keep it up”, Hon.
