Obaseki’s Victory: Reward of APC Hardwork – Gov. Sani Bello<\/strong><\/p>\n

Niger State governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello on Friday described the victory of Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governor-elect of Edo State as a reward for dedication and commitment to service by the ruling party in the state.<\/p>\n

Gov. Sani Bello in a congratulatory message to the governor-elect said the victory of Obaseki at the polls was a testimony that the people of Edo State appreciated the developmental progress recorded in the state in the last 8 years.<\/p>\n

The message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, the Niger State governor advised the governor-elect to ensure that he build on the solid foundation already laid by Gov. Adams Oshoimhole by taking the state to the next level.<\/p>\n

“I want to congratulate Mr. Godwin Obaseki, Edo State governor-elect \u00a0and Philip Shaibu \u00a0deputy governor-elect \u00a0on their \u00a0victory at the just concluded governorship election in the state. Your track record as a seasoned technocrat and your antecedents as an astute administrator must have informed your choice by Edo people.<\/p>\n

“Your emergence at the polls as the governor-elect in the keenly contested election was a testimony of the confidence the people have in you, as a team player whose contributions to Edo state development are outstanding.<\/p>

He also \u00a0enjoined them to live- up to campaign promises of \u2018EDO PEOPLE: Let\u2019s GO Further, Together\u2019, and \u00a0APC Manifesto of Relief, Recovery and Reform, urging them to be magnanimous in victory.<\/p>\n
