Sanwo-Olu Drops Oreagba, Bakare-Oki In As LASTMA GM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A change in the echelon of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), has led to the removal of the General Manager, Bolaji Oreagba by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.<\/p>\n<p>In his place, Bakare-Oki Olalekan has been appointed.<\/p>\n<p>The appointment takes immediate effect. Oreagba was appointed on the 14th September, 2021, by Sanwo-Olu to oversee LASTMA, an organization that has come under intense criticism due to infractions by some staffs.<\/p>\n<p>In a press statement by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation, Olawale Musa, the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan is for better performance, eradicating incidences of misdemeanours among staffs and continued efficient and effective traffic management on Lagos roads.<\/p>\n<p>It was learnt that Bakare-Oki Olalekan enlisted into the Lagos State Public Service on the April 25, 2000 and rose through the ranks over the years to the post of Deputy Director, Logistics and Engineering Department of LASTMA, before his new appointment as General Manager.<\/p><div data-ad-id=\"32665\" style=\"text-align:center; margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px;float:none;\" class=\"afw afw_ad_image afw_ad afwadid-32665  \">\r\n                                                            <div style=\"font-size:10px;text-align:center;color:#cccccc;\">Advertisement<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.accessbankplc.com\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"auto\" max-width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Banner-1.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n                                                                        \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<p>A Masters Degree holder in Transportation Planning and Management from the University of Lagos.
