{"id":76515,"date":"2023-10-23T10:03:44","date_gmt":"2023-10-23T09:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/?p=76515"},"modified":"2023-10-23T10:03:44","modified_gmt":"2023-10-23T09:03:44","slug":"nigerias-tethys-emerges-sole-brand-licensee-for-texaco-lubricants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/sub\/nigerias-tethys-emerges-sole-brand-licensee-for-texaco-lubricants\/","title":{"rendered":"Nigeria&#8217;s Tethys Emerges Sole Brand Licensee For Texaco Lubricants"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"H_1BObGP iz_FF\" data-test-id=\"message-group-content\" data-touch-scroll-enabled=\"true\">\n<div class=\"k_w jb_7ceA d_93qVS D_F ek_BB\">\n<div class=\"U_fq7 em_N\" data-test-id=\"message-card\">\n<div class=\"U_6MGW\">\n<div data-test-id=\"message-view-body\">\n<div class=\"msg-body P_wpofO iy_A\" data-test-id=\"message-view-body-content\">\n<div class=\"jb_0 X_6Fd5 N_6Fd5\">\n<div data-test-id=\"message-body\">\n<div id=\"yiv3980161972\">\n<div>\n<div>A Nigerian company, Tethys Ltd., has emerged as the sole brand licensee for Texaco lubricants across the country.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Speaking at the Chevron-Tethys Texaco Lubricants relaunch on Thursday in Lagos, Mr Jaap Jan Mohlmann, Manager, Distributor and Export Sales Chevron, said the company was happy for its reentrance into the Nigerian market.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mohlmann said the company had been in Nigeria for years and was happy to work with Tethys as the brand licensee for Texaco lubricants in Nigeria.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He noted that Texaco is one of the most recognised largest lubricants<\/div>\n<div>in the world with integrated supply chain and was happy to be back to the Nigerian market.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;We have been in Nigeria for a long time and we have built an extensive network and we know a lot of people but we don&#8217;t make associations very likely.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;And in Chevron we run through a process of selection, interviews and others\u00a0 to make sure the people we work with are working with a similar vision; we have a brand and company to protect and we do underground checks to make sure we have a true collaboration.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He assured Nigerians that the products would be affordable and durable stressing that quality would be guaranteed.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mohlmann disclosed that the lubricant products are the best for the Nigerian users because of durability and affordability.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On why the company is interested in the Nigerian market, he said the economy cannot be neglected because of its high population.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;Nigerian economy is fast growing in Africa despite the challenges, and they drive the quality demand across Africa.
