The organisation noted that it is excited to announce the dynamic virtual training session because it is tailored for campus journalists and media professionals keen to explore the transformative realm of Mobile Journalism (MoJo) which has rapidly evolved into a vital storytelling tool for several compelling reasons:<\/p>\n

Also, the virtual training promises to enrich the storytelling process, offering convenience, speed, authenticity, and a wide range of multimedia options. Participants will learn to craft impactful narratives that resonate with audiences in a rapidly evolving media landscape.<\/p>\n

\u201cMoJo has become increasingly important for storytelling due to its accessibility, speed, flexibility, engagement, cost-effectiveness, agility, user-generated content, story variety, and global reach. By leveraging the potential of smartphones, journalists can capture stories on the go, quickly edit and share them in real-time, and create engaging and impactful narratives.<\/p>\n

The virtual training will be led by a seasoned and multimedia journalist with over 30 years of experience, Mrs. Adesola, Ayo-Aderele, who will provide insights on how to harness the potential of smartphones for compelling storytelling. Attendees will learn about different storytelling techniques, creativity, and new narrative styles. They will also gain knowledge on how to adapt to changing situations and environments to unexpected events more effectively.<\/p>\n
