… as IGP approves redeployment of 17 AIGs to formations<\/p>\n

Following the elevation and approval of two Deputy Inspector General of Police on Friday, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has approved the redeployment of the affected officers to different departments and formations across the country.<\/p>\n

Among the DIGs affected are DIG Hafiz M. Inuwa, who is to head the Department of Logistics and Supply, while DIG Bala Ciroma, heads Department of Training and Development, and DIG Emeka Frank Mba, is to head the Department of Research and Planning respectively.<\/p>\n

\"\"With the recent elevation, DIG Ciroma has become the supervising DIG for the North-East, while DIG Mba assumes a supervisory role over the South-East Geo political zone.<\/p>\n

In a statement on Saturday, the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said all the posting takes immediate effect.<\/p>

Similarly, the IGP has approved the posting\/redeployment of 17 Assistant Inspectors-General of Police to various commands and formations.<\/p>\n

They include AIG Zone 10 Sokoto; AIG Abubakar Lawal, AIG Zone 15 Maiduguri; AIG Abdul Umar, AIG Zone 7 Abujc- AIG Williams Adebowale, AIG Armament FHQ Abuja \u2013 AIG Shettima Zanna;AIG Zone 17 Akure – AIG Ebong Eyibio Ebong; AIG Maritime Lagos \u2013 AIG Adepoju Ayinde Ilori; AIG FCID Annex Kaduna – AIG Okon Okon Effiong.<\/p>\n

Others are; AIG Zone 9 Umuahia \u2013 AIG Echeng Eworo Echeng; Commandant Staff College Jos \u2013 AIG Susan Ukpanukiema Horsefall; AIG DFA FHQ Abuja – AIG Bankole Lanre Sikiru; AIG Zone 11 Osogbo \u2013 AIG Oladimeji Yomi Olanrewaju; AIG Federal Operations FHQ Abuja \u2013 AIG Odama Paul Ojeka AIG Forensic \u2013 AIG Shehu Gwarzo; AIG R&P, FHQ Abuja \u2013 AIG Yekini Adio Ayoku; AIG FCID Alagbon Lagos \u2013 AIG Yahaya S.
