The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Public Education Officer, Lagos Sector, Superintendent Route Commander Olabisi Sonusi and two other officers of the Corps, have been presented an Award of Excellence by the Enthronement Assembly.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Global Senior Pastor Reverend Deji Olabode, of Enthronement Assembly, who presented the Award of Excellence, said it was part of the Church’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Command’s remarkable feat in road crash reduction in the recognition country.<\/p>\n

Other awardees are Marshal Inspector III Ajayi Kehinde O; and Deputy Chief Road Marshal Assistant Ogundele Tayo A.<\/p>\n

“This is part of our CSR to sustained efforts of FRSC to enhance its performance in crash reductions not only in Lagos but also in the country at large. FRSC personnel should be motivated in the discharge of their duties of saving lives on the highways.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Lagos Sector Commander, Corps Commander Babatunde Farinloye in his appreciation remarks, said most motorists and Road users were in the habit of casting aspersions on law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n

Farinloye said FRSC personnel needed to be celebrated for their dedication and hard work.<\/p>\n

“FRSC was saddled with the responsibility of making the highways safe for motorists and other road users as well as checking road worthiness of vehicles.<\/p>

We minimize accidents on the highways and educate motorists and members of the public on the importance of road discipline on highways,” Farinloye said.<\/p>\n

According to him, the corps also prevent accidents on the highway by clearing obstructions on any part of the roads.<\/p>\n

The Sector Commander added that FRSC educate drivers, motorists and other members of the public generally on the proper use of the roads.<\/p>\n

He appreciated the Global Senior Pastor and members of the congregations for the honour.<\/p>\n

Olabisi Sonusi, who spoke on behalf of other awardees thanked the church for the award of excellent.<\/p>\n
