It was a bloody Sunday, 29th January, 2023 as a latched containerized truck rolled backward and fell on a commercial bus killing nine passengers, one female adult was rescued alive while two were injured.<\/p>\n

\"\"The incident which took place at Costain-Ojueleba bridge about 1345hrs involved two vehicles with Registration number: KJA 380 XD, a MACK (40ft container) with white colour and KTU 921 YD, a Suzuki (mini bus) with passengers.<\/p>\n

According to Federal Road Safety Corp’s Route Commander, Public Education Officer Olabisi Sonusi explained that 13 people were involved in the accident, comprising nine male and four female.<\/p>\n

Route Commander Sonusi explained that the cause of the crash was orchestrated as the truck rolled back before falling on the commercial vehicle.<\/p>\n

At the moment, it was learnt that personnel of FRSC have cordoned off the bridge while a cranes has succeeded at lifting the container off the bus.<\/p>\n
