The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Ari Muhammed Ali has reiterated its undiluted assurance to Deltans of a hitch-free Christmas celebration.<\/p>\n

As a result, he has ordered massive deployment of personnel across the State to provide adequate security before, during and after the celebration to ensure protection of all residents in the State.<\/p>\n

In that direction, all Area Commanders, Dividional Police Officers and Tactical Commanders are to deploy men to all venues of the Celebrations and other resort centres to avoid mischief makers showing their ugly faces and causing any form of mayhem to law abiding citizens of the State.<\/p>\n

In addition, ensure proper supervision of their men deployed who are deployed from Dragon Patrol, Safer Highways, Quick Response Squad, Rapid Response Squad, and Eagle-Net Special Squad.<\/p>

Traffic Control at the Head bridge has equally been taken care of as both Police personnel and traffic wardens have been deployed solely for the purpose of traffic control while the Divisional Police Officers \u2018B\u2019 and \u2018C\u2019 Divisions Asaba and the State Traffic Officer have been tasked with the responsibility of working with other security agencies to ensure free flow of traffic.<\/p>\n

Similarly, the Deputy Commissioner of Police incharge Operation have been charged to organize Continuous \u2018OPERATION SHOW OF FORCE\u2019 with effect from Tuesday 20th, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th December 2022 in all parts of the State and to be supervised by the eight Area Commanders with a view to ensuring a hitch free Yuletide period.<\/p>\n
