Few days after Nairametrics authored a disparaging and damaging defamation of her character through a concocted publication, using her photograph for what she had no connection with, Ms Ify Onyegbule has been glowingly congratulated by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba for her appointment as the Director General, Imo Broadcasting Corporation.<\/p>\n

\"\"In a statement by the Force Public Relations, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said on Wednesday that IGP extends his warm felicitations to the newly elected Ify Onyegbule on her laudable appointment as the substantive Director-General of Imo Broadcasting Corporation, a clear reinforcement of her broadcasting prowess and excellence.<\/p>\n

Also congratulated by the IGP is the Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, and his team on their well-deserved win at the elections held at the Goodluck Jonathan Peacekeeping Hall, Force Headquarters, Abuja, on Tuesday, 29th November, 2022.<\/p>\n

The IGP has tasked the newly elected officials of the PCRC on entrenching the community policing doctrine in Nigeria, particularly in urban areas where communal living is almost nonexistent.<\/p>
