The Governorship candidate on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State against the 2023 general elections in the country\u00a0 and member of House of Representatives representing Chanchaga constituency from Niger state Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago has said that he will increase the Internally Generated Revenue IGR of the state from current N12billion\u00a0 to N30billion if he emerged as an elected Governor in the state next year<\/p>\n

He stated this during an interactive session with Journalists at the Niger State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists,\u00a0 IBB Pen House on Monday\u00a0 in\u00a0 Minna the state capital.<\/p>\n

Hon.Mohammed Umar\u00a0 Bago said he will come up with a robust plan that will revive the economy as well as fortunes\u00a0 of Niger state.<\/p>\n

Though he did not give further details of his blueprints,\u00a0 the Federal Law Maker however said he has a blueprint in which he will unveil soon.<\/p>

Mohammed Umar\u00a0 Bago also spoke of his\u00a0 plans to establish the Media city in Minna that would comprise of accommodation and Institute of Media from primary school, post Primary school up\u00a0 till\u00a0 Tertiary Institutions where Journalism will be adequately taught by Professional Journalists working in the state if he becomes an elected Governor in the state in the next political dispensation.<\/p>\n

He added that he will also establish\u00a0 state of the arts studios for broadcast media and sports complex will be in place to achieve the desired objective.<\/p>\n

The APC Gubernatorial Flagbearer in the state in thefortgcoming Governorship election in the state thereby\u00a0 applauded the Niger State Governor Alhaji\u00a0 Abubakar Sani Bello for being the most celebrated Governor in Nigeria at the moment following his recent decision at\u00a0 providing a level playing field for contestants during the just concluded APC Governorship primaries in the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
