Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Dr Bashir Jamoh has said that the agency is stepping up its maritime safety mandate through issuance of a curriculum to evaluate performance of trainees on the International Ships and Ports Facility Security (ISPS) Code.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n

Jamoh stated this when a delegation from the World Maritime University (WMU) , Malmo, Sweden , led by the institution\u2019s head of Maritime Law and Policy, Dr. Max Mejia paid a working visit to the agency\u2019s headquarters in Apapa Lagos.<\/p><\/div>\n

The NIMASA boss in his official twitter handle @jamohbashir stated that the visit was used to discuss International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.<\/p>
