{"id":53305,"date":"2021-10-23T17:26:29","date_gmt":"2021-10-23T16:26:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/?p=53305"},"modified":"2021-10-23T17:27:28","modified_gmt":"2021-10-23T16:27:28","slug":"service-takers-should-speak-up-on-defiency-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationalwire.com.ng\/sub\/service-takers-should-speak-up-on-defiency-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Service Takers Should Speak Up On Defiency Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"yiv0353081650MsoNormal\" align=\"center\">\n<p class=\"yiv0353081650MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Director, Finance and Accounts, Ministry of Police Affairs, Mr. Aondoaka Emmanuel has urged service takers to speak up whenever they noticed a deficiency in the services delivery by civil servants,.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0353081650MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">He made this known during a sensitization workshop on Quality Service Delivery for Grade Level 10-13 in the Ministry of Police Affairs in Abuja.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0353081650MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Mr. Aondoakaa who represented the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry said that SERVICOM is an initiative of the Federal Government to promote effective and efficient service delivery in the Ministry Department and Agencies (MDAs)\u00a0<\/span>and to manage the performance-expectation gap between Government and citizens as well as other members of the public, on issues of service delivery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0353081650MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">In his words \u201c<\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" name=\"_Hlk85705213\"><\/a>SERVICOM equally gives the public the right to demand good services as contained in MDAs\u2019 Service Charter. One of its goals is to ensure that service takers understand their rights to public services, the service standards they should expect, and how to demand that service or speak up where it is deficient or lacking<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0353081650MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Director pointed out that<\/span>\u00a0the leadership of all MDAS\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">had<\/span>\u00a0keyed into the SERVICOM COMPACT with the aim of rendering prompt and efficient services to the staff.
