class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">Living Faith Church (LFC) Worldwide via its Youth arm at the 17 th Annual International<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">Youth Alive Convention to help prepare and empower millions of young Nigerians with\u00a0the aim of boosting their employment prospects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">Incidentally, no less than 40million of unemployed people in the country are youths,\u00a0which happens to be 66% of Nigeria\u2019s working population, according to the National\u00a0Bureau Statistics (NBS).<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">As an institution at the forefront of empowering youths, the MD\/CEO of Heritage Bank,\u00a0Ifie Sekibo said there was need to help prepare the millions of young Nigerians for the\u00a0transition to work and engaged citizenship, by connecting both post-secondary and\u00a0University graduates into understanding career opportunities and getting prepared for\u00a0employment and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">He also emphasized and canvassed for effective and increased investment in young\u00a0people as a key pathway to jobs in today\u2019s changing world of work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">The MD of Heritage Bank, who was represented by Adesoji Ogunsanya, Head, Talent\u00a0Resourcing, human Capital Management, whilst giving career talks on \u201cGetting a Job\u00a0Immediately after School,\u201d hinted on apt CV writing tips, how to prepare for interviews,\u00a0personal effectiveness and, career and personal fulfilment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">Admonishing the Winners\u2019 Youth Ministry, Sekibo also advised them to take care of\u00a0themselves spiritually, emotionally and physically, whilst noting that self-management\u00a0was also required for optimal productivity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">According to him, it is quite appropriate to also carry out a SWOT Analysis on yourself,\u00a0leverage on the areas of strength and opportunities, build competency in the area of\u00a0weakness and threat.<\/p><div data-ad-id=\"32665\" style=\"text-align:center; that they were equipped to find decent jobs, adding that\u00a0\u201cyoung people are almost three times as likely as adults to be unemployed\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">However, he disclosed that one of the channels churned out in partnering the youths to\u00a0leverage their talents and contribute their quota to the growth of the economy, was the\u00a0 use of financial inclusion strategy which would be adopted to prepare them and boost\u00a0entrepreneurship development, as this is critical to Heritage Bank\u2019s mission to create,\u00a0preserve and transfer wealth across generations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">The Assistant National Youth Pastor of Living Faith Church, North Central, George Eko,\u00a0who expressed appreciation for the impartation of knowledge upon the youths by\u00a0Heritage Bank; affirmed that the self-esteem of the youths had been elevated by being\u00a0given the opportunity to interact with the Bank which they thought could never be a\u00a0reality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7069990222MsoNormal\">He expressed his joy and announced that the people were overwhelmed as the church\u00a0was not only concerned about their spiritual
