A helicopter belonging to the Indian Army has crashed in Ranjit Sagar Dam of Pathankot district on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

The two pilots on board survived the crash which happened in the northern state of Punjab.<\/p>\n

A police official of Pathankot, Surendra Lamba quoted by Agency reports said, “We received information that an army helicopter has crashed in the lake. We rushed our teams to the spot.”<\/p>

The reports noted that two pilots from the army aviation Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv helicopter on board survived the crash adding that the helicopter was on a routine sortie when the incident happened.<\/p>\n
