Bayelsa state technology hub,(Bayelsatechhub) has expressed indications for partnership towards the technological advancement of the state.<\/p>\n

Manager of the hub,Mr Asieri Odusi made this known to Newsmen during a chat in Yenagoa,the state capital.<\/p>\n

National Wire was informed,the Bayelsa state Technology Hub was established \u00a0in 2019 and powered by the bank of industries, BOI as a fall out of its desire for a technology driven commercial environment in and around the state.<\/p>\n

National Wire also gathered that the hub serves as a training hub for young technologists and people from other walks of life who desire to acquire various technological skills for the growth of their enterprises.<\/p>\n

He noted that idea for a Techhub in the state was conceived as a deliberate effort through the partnership with the bank of industries as an incubation centre for young tech experts.<\/p>

Odusi said the centre from its inception has trained and incubated fresher technologists in various fields,saying that thousands of young tech experts have been nurtured and groomed for the state’s future advancement.<\/p>\n

“We’ve seen here many Bayelsans inventing various technologies. All the trainers,instructors and teachers here in this hub are Bayelsans,specializing in various technological profession.<\/p>\n

“We’ve ICT experts,we’ve students coming from within and outside the state to learn and acquire technical know-how in various fields here.<\/p>\n

“But what we lack here is partnership. Though the bank of industries have tried for the hub,we needed more partnership with both the private sector and other public parastatals and MDAs for the technological advancement of the state”,the manager said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
