In their collective determination to ensure that the lives and properties of Zamfara citizens are adequately protected, the Zamfara State Police Command on Sunday rescued 11 Kidnapped victims in the state.<\/p>\n

The rescue operation was jointly carried out in collaboration with the State Government Peace Committee. The victims were abducted on 4th June, 2021 near WANZAMAI Village, along Gusau – Zaria Road in Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State.<\/p>\n

It was learnt that victims who are natives of Katsina State were abducted by suspected armed bandits while coming back from the marketing in Gummi Local Government Area in a J5 Bus Reg. No. DMS 06 XA.<\/p>

According to the Zamfara State Police Command spokesperson, SP Mohammed Shehu who confirmed the development said the victims were taken to the forest by their abductors when the Police operatives in collaboration with the state Government Peace Committee and some repentant bandits swung into action and eventually succeeded in rescuing all the victims hale and hearty.<\/p>\n

At the moment, all the kidnapped victims have been medically checked by the government medical team and have been debriefed and reunited with their families by the Police respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
