Two first half goals from Nyima Nwagua and David Ebuka gave Kano Pillars all points against Wikki Tourists in Bauchi.<\/p>\n

Ebuka assisted Nwagua for the first goal and the winger would later add his name on the goals chart.<\/p>\n

But substitute Stephen Chukwude reduced the deficit midway in the second half as the visitors held on to pick the maximum points.<\/p>\n

Pillars dominated the first half as on many occasions, Ebuka, Nyima and Bright Silas were given all the space up front.<\/p>\n

However, it was the home team that had the first chance early after Sale Ibrahim had his shot saved by Enaholo.<\/p>\n

The game’s first goal came in the 13th minute. Wikki lost the ball in the center for Pillars captain, Rabiu Ali to put the it in the way of Ebuka who raced from the right and placed a low cross for Nwagua to then calmly play it over Nwabali.<\/p>\n

Moments later, the visitors almost claimed the second but Nwabali did well this time and denied Ali Malam.<\/p>

Three minutes to the half hour mark, Pillars got their second. It was another counter offensive which ended with David Ebuka finding the back of the net from Mustapha Jibrin pass at the near post.<\/p>\n

Not satisfied, coach Abdallah made double substitution. Manu Garba who won a penalty in their last home game against Wolves was called to replace Promise Damala while Jimmy Ambrose replaced Mathew Emmanuel.<\/p>\n

Sale Ibrahim had his effort saved close to the hour mark and the pressure however yielded result after 66 minutes when substitute Stephen Chukwude scored.<\/p>\n

The Bauchi Elephants threw more men upfront and they thought they had equalised but the scorer, Ibrahim, was judged offside.<\/p>\n

Kano Pillars will hope this type of luck will continue to go their way in their next two fixtures which is all at home. Wikki have to step up if they are to avoid the drop.<\/p>\n
