Sunshine Stars\u2019 teenage left winger, Ayo Adejubu has recalled days he used to sneak out of the house to watch his darling team, Sunshine Stars of Akure.<\/p>\n

Adejubu who is emerging as one of the revelations of 2020\/21 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season is also grateful to his coach for giving him the opportunity to play in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) for the Akure based Sunshine Stars.<\/p>\n

Adejubu told http:\/\/www.npfl.ng<\/a> that the opportunity of wearing the Akure side\u2019s jersey is a dream come true.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Each time I wear the jersey of Sunshine Stars, I look back to when I used to watch the team on television and most times also sneaking out to watch their training sessions. I never knew that one day I will be playing for this club, so it\u2019s a dream come true for me,\u2019\u2019 Adejubu said.<\/p>

The former Akure City Football Academy player after contributing to the team’s win away to Dakkada FC in Uyo last Sunday, says he would love to help in accomplishing the club overall success than attain personal glory. He insists that he only wants to ensure that his contributions to the team takes them to a top finish at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019I don\u2019t have a personal target for the season, I am still a young player who is still developing in the game. For now, I am grateful to Coach Gbenga Ogungbote for the opportunities given to me so far, and I hope my efforts in the team will see us end the season on a high\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Adejubu joined Sunshine Stars from Akure City Football Academy in 2019 and has been a revelation so far this season in the NPFL.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
