A business mogul and Founder of Protection Plus, a security company, Ubong King has succumbed to Covid-19 at the age of 48 years old.<\/p>\n

He died on Saturday evening from complications suffered from Coronavirus.<\/p>\n

The security expert and founder of Protection Plus Security Limited located in Lekki was a former chairman of The American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International Chapter 206, Lagos.<\/p>\n

In a post by his wife on her Facebook, Unyime Ivy-Ubong confirmed the development.<\/p>\n

“Thisis an open post to everyone just to respond to all who have tried to reach me that I\u2019m unable to respond to because of the volumes of calls coming in.<\/p>

“I will be unavailable for a while after this post so my children and I can process in private.<\/p>\n

“All I want to say right now is that my everlasting date Ubong King has completed the short 48 years assignment that our Lord asked him to do and he\u2019s at peace now.<\/p>\n

Ubong King began his career as a volunteer guard in the protocol department of the church he was attending at the time. King also worked as a consultant in a piggery, before venturing into the security industry. King went on to start Protection Plus Security Limited.<\/p>\n

Ubong also curated the \u2018ThinknationXX\u2019 annual event that gathered people across Nigeria and Africa to help them with mental shift for business growth.<\/p>\n
