As the former president of the Federal republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan turns 63 today, his admirers and fellows from all walks of life have continue to felicitate as well as pour eulogies on him and prayers for the erstwhile President.<\/p>\n

To this end,the foremost Ijaw youth body,the Ijaw Youth council have described the former president as a leader they are proud to call theirs.<\/p>\n

IYC said Jonathan as a president was not only a role model,but also a father and an Ijaw icon.<\/p>\n

The Ijaw Youths Council(Worldwide) has therefore joined millions of well-wishers round the world to celebrate the former president.<\/p>

In a statement issued to Newsmen through the IYC spokesman, Comrade, Ebilade Ekerefe,they group described the Jonathan as the father of modern Democracy in Africa.<\/p>\n

They said his humility,statesmanship and steadfastness as a leader have endeared him to many across the political divides,not only in Africa, but the entire globe,praying for God to keep him long alive to continue impacting the world positively.<\/p>\n

“Former President,Jonathan is a humble leader who sacrifices his interest for the general good,well being and stability of Nigeria”, IYC said.<\/p>\n
