Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command on Saturday overwhelmed a robbery syndicate, dislodged and recovered offensive weapon from them.<\/p>\n

As a result, two suspects, Ocha Chinonso, 23, of Mgbuke Village, Umunachi and Chidubem Emmanuel, 22, of Umusiome Nkpor were arrested.<\/p>\n

The two robbers were nabbed about 8:32am while operating with dangerous weapons at
\nAbagana end of Nimo junction in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State following a distressed call.<\/p>\n

The Police operatives attached to Abagana Division in conjunction with local vigilante group from Umudunu village had responded and rushed to the scene and engaged the criminals.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, exhibits recovered in their possesions included two Pump Action gun, one short double barrel gun, three catridges and one Keke tricycle.<\/p>\n

According to SP Haruna Mohammed, Anambra State Police Command spokesperson said the
