Candidates who have successfully completed the online recruitment registration of Constables into the Nigerian Police have been told proceed to different recruitment centres across the federation to begin the physical and credential screening exercise.<\/p>\n

The exercise would take place between the 24th August, 2020 and 6th September, 2020, across the federation, the Force Public Relations Officer, (FPRO), ACP Frank Mba announced in Abuja police on Thursday.<\/p>\n

According to him, All the applicants are expected to appear at the various screening venues in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory basic requirements.<\/p>\n

These requirements include, a National Identity Number (NIN);
\nOriginal and duplicate copies of credentials \u2013 O\u2019 Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin and Birth Certificate\/Declaration of Age – neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached.<\/p>\n

Others include, Printout of application submission confirmation page; Duly completed Guarantor\u2019s form.<\/p>\n

Mba further disclosed that “Any candidate who fails to present (i \u2013iv) above, would not be considered for the screening.<\/p>

“The screening exercise would take place at designated locations within each State\/FCT adding that details and specific guidelines for each State would be announced by the Police Public Relations Officers in the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).<\/p>\n

In line with Covid-19 protocols, the screening and other activities bordering on the recruitment exercise would be carried out in strict compliance.<\/p>\n

However, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu has reiterated that the recruitment exercise is “absolutely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation.”<\/p>\n

He added and assured that the process would be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability, advising that the applicants to be wary of online impostors, scammers and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the recruitment process to dupe innocent applicants.<\/p>\n
