The adage that says: Everyday for the thief, one day for the owner played out at Iyana Ipaja on Friday as a middle aged man identified as Ismaila Yusuf was apprehended by operatives of the Lagos Police Rapid Response Squad (RRS) for stealing iPhone 11.<\/p>\n

It was learnt that the suspect had snatched the phone from the owner, (who recognised him) a passenger in a tricycle two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Immediately the suspect was recognised by the victim on the road and screamed which drew the attention of the police officers, the suspect took to his heels and was pursued by the police and later apprehended, the police said.<\/p>

However, immediately the suspect was caught by the police patrol team, he offered them bribe to let him go but they declined and took him to Ipaja Police Station for further investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
