History today in Kano repeated itself when Nigerians received the news of the ouster of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi with on Monday by the state government.<\/p>\n

It would be recalled that Sanusi\u2019s grandfather, Emir Sir Muhammadu Sanusi I, KBE was deposed as Emir of Kano in 1963. The senior Sanusi reigned between 1954 and 1963.<\/p>\n

The State government has however announced and installed a replacement, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero as new Emir.<\/p>\n

Before his new post, Aminu Ado Bayero, a cousin to the deposed Emir was Emir of Bichi, one of the four emirates created recently by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.<\/p>\n

The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Muhammadu Sanusi II was the 14th<\/sup> Emir of Kano from the Fulani Sullubawa clan who ascended the throne in 2014 after the death of the late Emir, Ado Bayero who was his grand uncle.<\/span><\/p>

Born 31st<\/sup> July 1961 Sanusi is now banished to Nassarawa State.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier n the day there was pandemonium in the Kano State Assembly over the development in the Kano Emirate. The lawmakers were in a tussle to outsmart themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n
