The Rector, \u00a0Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State, Dr . Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi has \u00a0felicitated\u00a0 with staff and students of the polytechnic, as they celebrated the \u00a0New Year.<\/p>\n

He stated this in his New Year message,\u00a0 issued and made available to Journalists\u00a0 on Wednesday in Minna, \u00a0 by the Rector’s , Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Malam Abdulkadir Abdullahi Yahaya.<\/p>\n

The release, however,\u00a0 applauded Nigerians from all walks of life,\u00a0 over their steadfastness and perserverence in pursuit of lawful daily activities, inspite of life challenges, saying\u00a0 “that concerted efforts should be made by well meaning Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari to deliver dividends of democracy to Nigerians in year 2020 and beyond”.<\/p>\n

He said,\u00a0 “let the new year enable us to be more productive, resilient and committed to our lawful duties in a bid to move our nation forward. This is even as we hope for many more opportunities of greater successes in our various areas of endeavours.”<\/p>

Dr. Dzukogi,\u00a0\u00a0 also seized\u00a0 the occasion to express gratitude to students, staff and parents,\u00a0 for their continuous patience throughout the period of the lingering strike action by the Academic Staff Union of the Polytechnics,( ASUP)\u00a0 Bida Chapter in the institution.<\/p>\n

He advised Nigerians to be their brothers keepers as well as exhibiting the virtues of tolerance, hard work, and steadfastness for the greater prosperity of the nation and humanity as a whole.<\/p>\n

The Rector, also said on the occasion of the New year that: “staff and students should refrain from all anti-social acts and be law abiding citizens of the country” adding,\u00a0 that all stakeholders must come together to enthrone a culture of tranquility and justice where peace reigns supreme for collective development of Nigeria and the world at large.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
