Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), in conjunction with the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Gospel artistes, and several others,\u00a0 gathered to\u00a0 pray to God for intervene on Nigeria\u2019s numerous challenges.<\/p>\n

The event which was organised by House on the Rock, Church, Minna Niger state in collaborating with Gospel artists last\u00a0 weekend,\u00a0 had over 7,000 persons, including politicians in attendance.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, the\u00a0 Chairman, Niger State’s chapter\u00a0 of the Christians Association of Nigeria,(CAN)\u00a0\u00a0 Revd.\u00a0 Mathias Echioda, called on Christians and indeed Nigerians to be steadfast and trust God for healings in the land.<\/p>\n

According to Echioda \u201cwe are going to break the evil yoke holding Nigeria to\u00a0 ransom,\u00a0 through intercessory prayers, praise and worshiping God in his fullness”.<\/p>\n

Also speaking to newsmen shortly before the Praise event tagged, \u201cSHOUT\u201d, at the Legbo Kutigi International Conference Center, Minna, the Resident Pastor, House on the Rock Church, Minna, Pastor Peterock Sadiq said numerous challenges which seemed to have defied all known human solution calls for divine intervention.<\/p>\n

According to him “this is the second edition and this year, we are Praying, Praising and Worshipping God for hid intervention on Nigeria and Christians in particular.<\/p>

“The scenario in Nigeria today, seems to have defied all human capabilities hence our resolve to collaborate with faithfuls across Nigeria to call on God through intercessory prayers, praise and worship for, \u201cHeavenly intervene and God to Heal Our Land\u201d.<\/p>\n

Pastor Sadiq told journalists that the programme SHOUT is a non-denominational service which gives opportunity for Christians, Muslims and others to come together to use praise and worship songs to call on God\u201d.<\/p>\n

Other Pastors from the PFN, and CAN disclosed thag “the praise and worship event gives the opportunity for all to pray to God to heal Nigeria from insecurity, political distrust which has continued to widen the gap among Nigeria\u2019s political elites and socio-economic challenges\u201d.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, they expressed optimism that \u201cthe Almighty God will hear and answer us and very soon Nigeria will witness rapid positive change in all sphere of life\u201d.<\/p>\n

Pastor Peterock further disclosed that \u201cIt is not the design of God for Nigeria and Nigerians cannot continue to go through challenges\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, dignitaries at the all night event, Friday night through Saturday morning which featured many gospel artists included the\u00a0 Chairman, Niger State’s chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Rev.
