The congratulatory remarks were made at the Company\u2019s 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Annual General Meeting, which took place at the Congress Hall of the iconic Transcorp Hilton,\u00a0Abuja.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Following the company\u2019s 26% increase in turnover,\u00a0the Shareholders have unanimously endorsed a final dividend of\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u20a6<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">1.14bn for the 2018 financial year. \u00a0The final dividend translated to 15kobo per ordinary share, which is a 20% improvement over the\u00a012kobo per ordinary share for 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Speaking on the Company\u2019s growth milestones, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Emmanuel N. Nnorom said &#8220;Transcorp Hotels Plc has exceeded the bar with an impressive turnover of\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u20a6<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">17.4billion from\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u20a6<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">13.8billion recorded in 2017, representing an improvement of 26%.
