Chief Executive Officer of a tech oriented reality show tagged STREETCEOs<\/a>, Charles Idonije, has told the media that the reality show is billed for airing on Startimes and other global broadcasting network for two months in Nairobi, Kenya.<\/p>\n

Idonije who made the revelation to National Wire on Monday said, the show is the world\u2019s first 24 hours reality show for start-ups.<\/p>\n

\u201cSTREETCEOs is world’s first 24hours Tech Startups Reality TV Bootcamp academy program and it will be aired live both in Startimes and other global Broadcasting networks for two straight months from the Kenyan capital, Nairobi,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Stating further the CEO said the concept is bi-annual and it is motivating, educating and at the same time entertaining. \u201cThis is a unique concept and it is a bi-annual program that is both motivating, educating and also entertaining.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole idea is to kick start the Africa’s Startups and also accelerate the continent\u2019s ecosystem. Every season admits 25 cohorts into the Bootcamp and we’re\u00a0rooting through various incubation\/accelerator hubs all over Africa to get the best 25 that could stand up globally,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

On the criteria for participation, Idonije said the applicants would in five minutes have to introduce themselves and the problems they are willing to solve.<\/p>\n

He also said, \u201cStartups must be solutions driven to the hailing challenges in Africa. Founders don’t necessarily need to be university graduates.\u201d<\/p>\n

Talking about the benefits in participation, he said, \u201cSuch benefits include: Investment Opportunities, Master classes, Incubation\/Accelerators with our foreign partners, Internship programs, Global exposure etc.\u201d<\/p>
